Compatibility Mode in Internet Explorer Turn on Compatibility mode for Internet Explorer Option 1: Tools menubar Internet Explorer 10 Navigate in Internet Explorer to the site you are trying to access. If the site you need to access is in the mit.edu domain, such as an Atlas application or any other MIT website, you can simply navigate to http://web.mit.edu. If the site is not part of the mit.edu domain, such as successfactors.com or another non-MIT site, navigate to that website. Press the Alt key to display the menu bar.Result: Internet Explorer displays the menu bar: File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools... Click the Tools menu, and then click on Compatibility View to enable it.Result: A check is displayed for Compatibility view. Internet Explorer 11 Navigate in Internet Explorer to the site you are trying to access. If the site you need to access is in the mit.edu domain, such as an Atlas application or any other MIT website, you can simply navigate to http://web.mit.edu. In the field for Add this website, you will see the domain, that is, the last part of the website address, such as mit.edu or successfactors.com Click Add.Result: the domain (mit.edu or other domain) appears in the list of "Websites you've added to Compatibility View". For non-MIT websites, such as successfactors.com or another non-MIT site, navigate to that website. Next to the address bar, click/tap on the highlighted (blue) Compatibility View icon button.
